Even though Bitcoin Cash ABC is currently worth almost three times as much as Bitcoin Cash SV, when it comes to hash power BCHSV seems to be the stronger one. Data sourced by Coin Dance shows that BCHSV will accumulate the most hashing power when the fork is being applied. According to the website at least 63% of the miners will be working with Bitcoin Cash SV, against a minimum of 18% for Bitcoin Cash ABC.
This data is based on mining pools and their support for the coins. At least 73% of the network’s current hash rate will tilt towards Bitcoin Cash SV. Mining pools like CoinGeek, SVPool, BMG Pool, okminer and Mempool are all following Craig S. Wright’s vision on the Bitcoin Cash protocol.
Craig Wright already implied he would try to destroy the Bitcoin Cash ABC network by mining empty blocks. He would be able to pull this off if he – and other miners – would maintain 51 percent of the mining power on the ABC network.
On November 15th the Bitcoin Cash network will split. Two new coins will exist; the Craig S. Wright backed Bitcoin Cash SV and the Roger Ver backed Bitcoin Cash ABC.
