Decentralized internet project Tron and Chinese major internet search provider Baidu are working together on blockchain based cloud computing solutions. The Tron Foundation announced this Wednesday morning local time. The Baidu-Tron cooperation is based on ‘basic cloud business’, so they won’t be working together on a blockchain level.
The Tron Foundation sees the cooperation as way to create ‘blockchain solutions that are more accessible for users and small businesses alike. End goal: mass adoption of blockchain’. At the same time Baidu is about the release a business plan for exploring blockchain technology and revenue sharing with partners. The Chinese tech giant supposedly is working on a new network infrastructure, what they refer to as ‘Super Chain’.
This collaboration between Tron and Baidu is the billion dollar cooperation Justin Sun was talking about a week ago. It clearly isn’t what investors were hoping for, as this collaboration has nothing to do with usability of the Tron Network or the TRX token.
Now let me partner with Starbucks, and give them a couple of bucks in exchange for a coffee.
