Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao likes the idea of a joint venture with the Tron Foundation. This is something he stated on Twitter after he posted comments about NASDAQ publishing an article about Binance, Tron and the Malta Stock Exchange. Tron recently gave a generous donation to charity projects Zhao was involved in.
Obviously nothing is set in stone. Comments on Twitter should also be taken lightly. But the fact that the Tron Foundation and Binance are already working together, makes the idea of the two companies actually getting involved with each other far more likely.
Currently Binance is one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges on the market. Currently it’s number two behind ZB.com, with a daily trading volume of 695 million USD. Followed by Bitmex, OKex and Huobi. In September the exchange launched a trading pair of its own BNB token against Tron’s TRX token. Binance was also one of the partners that helped with the swap from TRX as an ERC20-token to its own main net.
The Tron Foundation is currently working hard to create usability for their network. This summer they successfully launched their own network, after deploying their token on the Ethereum blockchain. After that the company took over BitTorrent, adding value to their product and preparing the BitTorrent file sharing protocol for blockchain implementation.
